British athletes carried the day in this year's Marathon event, emerging victorious in both the men's and women's categories while breaking the course records. Jonny Mellor ran a time of 2:10:46, and Becky Ricks clocked 2:29:06, setting new course records and personal best times.

The race has a loop that starts at Old Trafford for the one-lap marathon distance, ending at Old Trafford. It remains unchanged from the 2022 course.
Adidas Manchester Marathon 2023 Elite Entries
Elite runners get free entries and elite treatment to help them take on the challenge ahead in comfortable strides. The qualification for privileged entries are as follows;
Elite runners must have run the following times on a world and nationally-recognized stage within the past three years.
● Elite Male – Sub 2:30:00 or Sub 1:09:00 (half marathon)
● Elite Female – Sub 2:50:00 or Sub 1:19:00 (half marathon)

Adidas Manchester Marathon Standard Entry
Registrations are still ongoing, and you can join in the action by registering and paying the entry fee online at the Official website to have a runner's account profile.
The entry fee is £69 and includes:
● Customized bib sent to your address( only for UK residents)
● Finisher rewards: a medal, T-shirt, end race refresher drinks.
Adidas Manchester Marathon 2023 Cut-off Policy
The cut-off time is 6 hours, marked by the time the last runner crosses over the start point. The roads re-open in zones, and runners should maintain a minimum pace throughout the distance.
Falling behind this minimum pace can lead to a DNF listing, making you ineligible for the finisher's reward items. Runners can continue the race on the pavements at their safety and convenience.
Refunds/Defers/Transfers
Refunds
You can have refunds if you notify the organizers within 14 days after payments via email. You are entitled to a full refund minus the booking fee.
Defers
You can defer your Adidas Manchester Marathon 202 to the coming year between November 1, 2022, and February 5, 2023. But you will have to pay a £30 fee. If you defer before December 31, 2022, you can defer at a reduced £20 fee.
Transfers
All transfers should be between November 1, 2022, and February 5, 2023. A standard £20 fee will be levied against you.
Adidas Manchester Marathon 2023 Qualifier Role
The Adidas Manchester Marathon 2023 is certified and licensed by UKA. Running fast times makes you eligible for the Boston, London, and Comrades Marathon events. Your qualification time falls under the 'Good for Age' category.
Adidas Manchester Marathon 2023 Elite Prize Money
The top five elite runners will achieve similar prizes for men's and women's categories.
