The 20th anniversary of the Cardiff Half Marathon returns on Sunday 1 October 2023. As usual, you can expect a host of activities to make the day memorable while marking a two-decade milestone.
Registration/Entry
Entries are still ongoing but they are expected to sell out first. Already, the early bird edition (discounted tickets) has sold out after only hours of being on sale. But you can still register by paying for a general entry slot.
The advertised registration deadline is 31st August 2023 (or earlier if all tickets sell sooner).

You can also register to run for the many official charity organizations affiliated with the Cardiff Half Marathon 2023. You can register for only £10 and pledge to raise up to £300 or more via the NSPCC charity program.
SuperHalfs Entry
You can take part in the Superhalf marathon challenge 2023 by creating and registering your passport. Remember to include your passport number during registration.
Entry Pack
Your registration fee for the Cardiff half marathon 2023 has some other perks. They include
● Bib number and timing chip
● Finishers medal and T-shirt
● Access to facilities on race day (toilets, parking, and refreshments)
● Entertainment and live performances
● Energy stations for water and other nutritional entities
● Your finish time sent via SMS to your number
● Race pacers (predicted times for every wave)
● Change or transfer of details before race day
Transfer/Defer
If you are unable to run you can transfer your details to another runner as long as you make the request before the advertised deadline day. You can see full details from your confirmation email after registration.
Cut-off Time
You must finish the half marathon distance within 4.5 hours to allow the roads to reopen. Only participants that finish the race within this period will be entitled to a finishers medal and other rewards.
All participants must be 17+ years.
