BMO Vancouver Marathon 2023 - Treadmill Express Plus

The Sunday, May 7, BMO Vancouver Marathon 2023 is arguably one of Canada's largest race events that attract participants from all over the world. Over 10,000 participants are expected to grace the event making it competitive and worth training for if you want to run among the best runners worldwide.

Race Information

The BMO Vancouver Marathon features the full, half, and 8K marathon races. And should start by 9:00 am.

It's a relatively straight course, and runners will experience the beautiful scenes of the city from this annual event.

● Finish: After 6 Hours

● Weather: Cloudy weather between 49-61 degrees Fahrenheit (expected rain)

Race History

The BMO Vancouver marathon started in 1972 and has since grown to attract all-level athletes who compete for prizes, awards, and personal best times. The scenery is stunning, and you will experience a 70% shoreline paved road race.

This iconic race event features the full marathon, half marathon, full marathon relay, and 8K street run.

Spectators attend thousands yearly to cheer and spark the event, making it memorable, fun, and enjoyable.

Marathon Registration

The Registration process started in September 2022. All successful registrants will find a confirmation email that links them to their dashboard. You will have access to all details:

BMO Marathon Course 2023

There is an in-person and virtual race event for able and willing participants. The Marathon start point is Queen Elizabeth Park and concludes at Downtown Vancouver.

The scenery offers the world's longest seawall (waterfront path) and passes through parks and beaches.

The starting point for the 8K run is at Stanley park, Lagoon Drive.

Bib and Package Collection

Kindly collect your bib and package before the race day. (preferably a month earlier). Bib times will be allocated according to athletes' personal best times in accredited races certified by acknowledged race organizations.

No bib or package collection is available on race day.

Collection time and date are as scheduled:

● Friday, May 5, 11 am-7 pm

● Saturday, May 6, 10 am-5 pm

All runners should (in-person or virtual) require a Photo ID and Bib No. to participate. The package and bibs are to be collected by individual athletes.

Running the Virtual Race

The virtual race is flexible, and you can stroll or run comfortably. Choose your route on the streets from wherever you are, or run on the treadmill at home.
