The TCS New York City Marathon 2023 is a coveted event awaited by hundreds of thousands of spectators and participants. It's among the marathon event of the year that attracts the highest prize money and there’s no doubt that runners have already started to prepare for it now.
The date for the New York Marathon 2023 is Sunday 5, November 2023. The application process will open on 8th-22nd February 2023. The draw for accepted entries will take place on 1st March 2023.
New York City Marathon 2023 Entry Fees
Following a successful application you can enter the draw for free. Applicants that win the draw will be expected to pay the non-refundable entry fee as follows:

2020 Resolutions
Guaranteed entry for applicants of the canceled TCS NYC marathon 2020. The NYC 2023 is the last year for runners who canceled their 2020 entry. All claims should be completed between 8-22 February 2023.
15-Plus Completed NYC Marathon Runs
If you have finished more than 15 NYC marathon runs you will have guaranteed entries for all future NYC marathon events. Qualified applicants are to make claims between 8-22nd February 2023.
2022 NYC Marathon Cancellations
All 2022 cancellations done within the cancellation guidelines have guaranteed entries to the TCS NYC Marathon 2023. All claims are to be completed between 8-22nd February 2023.
Run for Charities
Official NYC marathon 2023 charity partners offer guaranteed entries. Registration dates via charity programs are to be announced.
Time-Qualifying Requirements
The TCS NYC Marathon 2023 allow guaranteed entries for all runners that meet the time standards from specific NYRR races in 2022. Non-NYRR members who meet the time standards will have guaranteed entries based on a first-to-come, first-to-serve principle.
All applications are to be submitted between 8-22nd February 2023.
Prize Money
Prize money is yet to be announced. Both women and men are to receive equal amounts for their categories. TCS NYC Marathon 1st prize winners scooped $100,000.
